Summary: Aim: The digital accompaniment of patients in their recovery is becoming increasingly widespread. The aim is to check whether a planned follow-up treatment can be objectified and thus improve the quality of digital support. Method: As part of a telephone accompaniment of the healing procedure, a measuring instrument was used. The ICUC score was selected for this purpose. In the statistical evaluation, the clinical relevance of the score values is to be determined. Results: The progress of the healing procedure was compared with the follow-up treatment recommendations of the DGOU as an example of treatment plans. A key result of the study is that stagnation and complications in the healing process can be reliably detected via the ICUC score. Conclusion: In conclusion, the combination of post-treatment planning and the course of treatment described by the ICUC score is a good way to identify disorders and complications in the healing process.
