Befunde beim plantaren Fersenschmerz und therapeutische sonografisch gestützte Infiltrationen bei Plantarfasziitis
Zusammenfassung: Die sonografische Untersuchung ermöglicht eine genaue anatomische Darstellung des Ansatzbereichs der Plantarfaszie, zeigt pathomorphologische Befunde auf und ermöglicht eine kostenneutrale Absicherung des klinischen Befunds. Ebenfalls lassen sich durch eine standardisierte Untersuchung und Verwendung eines geeigneten Linear-Ultraschallkopfs orthotope, therapeutische Injektionen unter visueller Kontrolle und sterilen Kautelen durchführen. Die Ultraschall-gestützte Injektion des Ansatzbereichs der Plantarfaszie bedarf etwas Übung, liefert aber klinisch bessere Ergebnisse und reduziert das Auftreten von Komplikationen.
Summary: Sonographic examination of the plantar fascia allows both detection of pathomorphological alterations and validation of clinical diagnostic findings. Moreover, the use of a suitable linear transducer together with a standardised technique enables application of injections with visual control. Ultrasound guided injection of the plantar fascia requires some practice but delivers better clinical results and lowers occurrence of complications.
