Zusammenfassung: Das Lima SMR-System ist ein bewährtes modulares Schulter-Endoprothesensystem mit der Möglichkeit alle Indikationen der Schulter-Endoprothetik adressieren zu können. Es stehen zementfreie und zementpflichtige Primärschäfte und modulare Lang- bzw. Revisionsschäfte mit diversen Adaptern zur Verfügung, welche custom-made erweitert werden können.
Durch die Möglichkeit der Konversion von der anatomischen auf die inverse Situation, mit Erhalt des humeralen Schafts und der glenoidalen Metal-back-Basisplatte mit guten Standzeiten lassen sich Komplikationen reduzieren und Langzeitergebnisse optimieren. Die Materialinvertierung der Komponenten mit einer PE-Glenosphäre und humeralen metphysären inversen Metall- oder Keramik-Linern vermeidet glenoidale Osteolysen, welche durch ein Skapula-Notching der PE-Liner verursacht werden. Das Metall respektive die Keramik ermöglicht geringere Wandstärken und damit geringere Gesamtdurchmesser sowohl der humeralen Liner als auch der metaphysären Becher. Die Materialkombinationen eignen sich auch für Nickel-Allergiker. Die angebotenen 40 mm und 44 mm Glenosphären erreichen eine bessere glenohumerale Beweglichkeit bei gleichzeitig erhöhter Stabilität.
Abstract: The Lima SMR-System is a commonly used modular system for shoulder arthroplasty. It offers the opportunity to treat all indications for shoulder endoprothesis. There are cementless and cemented stems for primary cases and long stems for revision cases with various adapters and custom-made extensions available.
Due to the potential to convert the primary situation into an inverse situation without explanting the humeral stem and the glenoid base-plate with excellent results, complications are reduced and long term results are optimized. The inversion of the material of the components in the form of a PE glenosphere and a metal or ceramic humeral liner avoids osteolysis caused by scapular notching of the PE liner and reduces the diameter size of the liner in regard to a thinner rim. The components are available for patients with nickel allergy. The available 40 mm and 44 mm liners have shown to increase glenohumeral motion and stability.
