Rheumaknoten werden bei deutlicher Deformierung oder schmerzhafter Funktionseinschränkung reseziert. Es besteht allerdings eine hohe Rezidivrate, insbesondere bei multiplem Auftreten und möglicherweise begünstigt durch eine MTX-Therapie [18, 19].
