Die kniegelenknahen Umstellungsoperationen sind etablierte Verfahren zur Therapie der Gonarthrose. Die Patientenzufriedenheit ist sehr hoch, insbesondere wenn eine gute Funktionalität des Knies erreicht werden kann. Der Korrekturverlust der Beinachse der operierten Seite ist tendenziell geringer als der der nicht operierten Seite, hier sind weitere Nachkontrollen zur Dokumentation des Verlaufs erforderlich.
